Story of Shamo Family
The inception, growth and the subsequent prosperity of the Shamo Group of Companies form a small enterprise in Somalia to a multi-national group of companies spread over to U.A.E, and Tanzania profoundly attributed and dedicated to the entrepreneurial instincts and acumen, dedication, commitment and hard work of it's honorable founder, the late Mr. Abucar Amin Mohammed Shamo.
The late Mr. Abucar Shamo, after having completed his studies in Somalia and having worked with the government of Somalia at the agriculture research laboratories at Afgoye ventured in the entrepreneurial world by the establishing a hardware store specialising in importation and sales of building materials in 1972.
